Our Vision for Possible Community Events:
- Guest Speakers- Growing out of our Town Talks, a series of speakers on topics covering a variety of age groups/topics.
- Homecoming/Prom Fashion Show
- Prom Dress Exchange
- Christmas Tour Craft Show
- Library Book Mobile
- Children Activity Series
- Collective Yard Sales
- Cooking Class Series (children and adults).
- Yoga, dance, meditation, study groups
- Plein Air type events,
- Demonstrations conducted by members of our community and by our partners in Make Your History in Marietta. How to: Create a flower arrangement, entertain/throw a gathering, plan a wedding, make party cocktails, etc.
The Gymnasium built in 1920 by the Community for the Community. Having been newly christened and refurbished as Studio 264, our inaugural event was the Marietta Art Alive River Towns Plein Air and Art Exhibit.
