About The Marietta Community House
Built in 1871, The Marietta Community House is a beautifully preserved example of Italianate Victorian architecture with unique modern touches. Inside, you’ll find warm amber wood floors, expansive windows, and a central fireplace with a matching mantel on the charming side porch. The spacious kitchen accommodates a full catering team, making it ideal for weddings, receptions, and special events.
The versatile first floor offers three distinct gathering spaces—the living room, front parlor, and dining room—allowing you to create the perfect mood, flow, and ambiance for your celebration. Upstairs, the exclusive Bride’s Salon features four salon stations, a private bathroom, and a French-inspired seating area for you and your bridal party to prepare in comfort and style. The Groom’s Lounge offers a private retreat for the groom and groomsmen to relax, get ready, and share memories before the ceremony.
Studio 264-Versatile Event Venue
Originally built by the Marietta community as a gymnasium, this beautiful brick building has been reimagined as Studio 264, a vibrant community space designed for events, programs, and gatherings. Thoughtfully refurbished, the studio features an open, high-ceilinged room with impressive windows that fill the space with natural light, newly refinished hardwood floors, and a handicap lift for accessibility.
With its flexible layout and bright, inviting atmosphere, Studio 264 is ideal for a wide range of uses—from community programs and educational workshops to private celebrations and social events. Our mission is to serve the Borough of Marietta by promoting the spiritual, intellectual, educational, social, and physical well-being of people of all ages.
Events
The Marietta Community House proudly hosts a variety of annual events that bring neighbors and visitors together to celebrate our vibrant community.
Each summer, our self-guided Garden Tour showcases eight beautiful Marietta gardens, complete with engaging lectures and a delicious pork barbecue dinner. Later in the year, we welcome local families to our Children’s Festival, a fun-filled day of activities, entertainment, and community spirit.
Our Annual Auction is a lively gathering where friends and neighbors come together to support our mission, while our Veteran’s Day Ceremony and Commemoration in November honors and thanks those who have served—and continue to serve—our country.
